The one area where they fall short, and this is by design is in knowledge of the staff about car tires and what tires to match to your car's tire ratings. They deliver what you order, but you need to be armed with information about exactly what you want before you arrive at the store.
In general with Walmart you get:
- You can buy car tires online and have them shipped for free to your local Walmart store.
- They carry many brands of car tires such as: Falken tires, Pirelli tires, Bridgestone tires, Firestone tires, Yokohama tires, Hankook tires, Kuhmo tires, BF Goodrich tires, and Kumho tires.
- You get a good price, not the best but fair, though little technical support.
- It's nice that they also carry light truck tires, rv tires, golf cart tires, boat trailer tires, lawn tractor tires, lawn mower tires and atv tires. They are one of the few that carry such a wide selection of tires.
- One deal you can get is you can take your car to any Walmart and get a free tire rotation for the life of the car tires. This is a pretty good deal if you get your oil changed at Walmart, since you can get a free car tire rotation every time you get your oil changed.
